When Josh Ritter plans on releasing a new album, you usually don’t find out through a string of interviews or message board speculation. In a similar vein to 2007′s The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter album announcement, I received a very brief email, directed to an appropriately redesigned website, and a short video stirring all anticipation necessary. Three years after the best album Ritter has ever released, another short and sweet video:
